Fellowrise · Sharing a room
Community guidelines
Draft prepared September 6, 2026
Bring something useful. Treat people with dignity. Keep private information private.
On this page
1.Respect the person
Disagree with ideas without attacking people. Harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, and targeted abuse do not belong here. Respect a person’s choice not to engage.
2.Protect the room’s privacy
Do not publish or forward private posts, messages, recordings, or member details without permission. Joining a private room is not consent to appear in someone else’s marketing.
Before sharing a screenshot, cover account numbers, addresses, identification numbers, access codes, and other sensitive information. Do not upload identity documents, full credit reports, payment credentials, or information you are not authorized to share.
3.Be honest about results and opportunities
Do not impersonate someone, fabricate testimonials, misrepresent credentials, or promise guaranteed funding, credit outcomes, income, or other results. Explain relevant limitations and disclose a financial interest in a recommendation.
No scams, phishing, forged documents, instructions to deceive institutions, or requests for another member’s credentials.
4.Contribute without spamming
Keep posts relevant to the room. Share context, ask specific questions, credit your sources, and give constructive replies. Follow the community owner’s rules for promotions.
Do not send unsolicited sales messages, repeatedly contact someone who has declined, or scrape the member directory. Following a member is not permission to market to them.
5.Respect content and consent
Only upload content you own or have permission to share. Do not redistribute paid lessons, copyrighted material, private messages, or someone else’s work without authorization.
Ask before recording or sharing an event. The host’s meeting platform may have additional recording and participation rules.
6.Raise concerns safely
Contact community staff or the Fellowrise team about harassment, privacy violations, suspected scams, or misuse. Include the community, a post or conversation reference, and a short description; share only the evidence needed.
Community staff may hide content or restrict access using available moderation tools. If a staff member is involved in the concern, contact the Fellowrise team directly. Fellowrise is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services for immediate danger.
