Your data and requests
Draft prepared September 6, 2026
Some changes are available in the app. Account deletion and a complete data export are not self-service features in the current beta.
On this page
1.Changes you can make in the app
- Edit your display name, biography, location, or website in Profile settings.
- Replace or remove your profile picture.
- Unfollow a member or change your event RSVP.
- Manage optional founding support separately through the subscription portal linked from Support.
2.Contact the team about your information
Email hello@kahvor.com and identify your request as concerning Fellowrise. Explain whether you are asking about access, correction, export, deletion, or another privacy concern.
Include the email used for your account and the relevant community name, if needed to locate the information. Do not include passwords, sign-in links, full payment details, government identification, or highly sensitive records in the initial message.
For account access, export, or deletion requests, the team will verify account ownership before releasing or deleting account information. We will ask only for information reasonably needed for that verification; please do not send identity documents unless the team explains why they are necessary and provides a secure way to share them.
For a removal request, tell us whether you want to leave one community or delete your entire Fellowrise account. The team will clarify the scope with you before taking action. Leaving a community is not the same as deleting your account.
The team will review shared conversations and records so that handling your request does not expose another member’s private information or unnecessarily remove their contributions. Any limits or retained information must be considered against applicable law and legitimate legal or security needs.
The team will respond with the outcome and explain any information that must be retained or any part of the request that cannot be completed, as appropriate. This page is not an automated deletion tool and does not claim that submitting a message has completed a request. Complete account erasure and data export are not currently available as self-service tools, and no exact backup-erasure date is promised.
3.Our reviewed-deletion approach
Every deletion request is reviewed by the Fellowrise operator during the private beta. Permanent erasure remains disabled while safeguards are completed. Submitting or closing a request does not delete data.
Leaving a community ends membership only. It does not delete your Fellowrise account, past posts, comments, messages, or uploads. Ask the team separately if you want particular information removed. Other memberships and optional support are unchanged.
For verified whole-account deletion, our reviewed approach is to remove your profile, avatar, owned uploads, original posts and comments, and sent-message content. This includes messages you previously sent in other members’ Fellowrise conversations, subject to specifically documented retention exceptions.
Preserve other members’ replies and messages using neutral placeholders such as “Former member”, “Post removed”, and “Message removed” where needed to keep a thread connected. Do not keep the departing member’s original content merely under a different name.
Review quotations, screenshots, attachments, and other retained contributions that may still identify the departing member. Preserve unrelated contributions while removing personal information where required; changing the author label alone is not anonymization.
Keep only specifically necessary billing, security, or dispute records privately. Document the retained information, reason, responsible handler, access restrictions, and retention period or review/removal criteria. Do not retain an entire account or conversation by default.
Fellowrise cannot promise to erase screenshots, downloads, or copies held outside its control. Provider backups and retained records require separate verification; a placeholder or completed review is not proof of erasure.
4.Different actions have different effects
- Signing out ends your local access; it does not erase your account.
- Community removal revokes access; it does not automatically erase past posts, private messages, or learning records.
- Published posts and replies may remain visible to the community even after their author’s access is removed.
- A hidden post is removed from normal visibility but may remain stored for moderation.
- Cookie removal changes information held in your browser, not the server’s account records.
- Cancelling support stops a subscription according to its confirmed terms; it is not an account-deletion request.
5.Location and legal rights
Available privacy rights can differ by location. Tell the team where you reside if it is relevant to your request; no detailed home address or identification document is needed in the initial message.
This page does not limit rights available under applicable law. You may also have a right to raise a concern with the relevant data protection or consumer protection authority.
